About Social Work Department
BSW stands for Bachelor in Social Work, and is an undergraduate degree offering a professional course to the young, aspiring candidates of the country. The course is generally a three – year long program, however with the implementation of the new education policy, the tenure of the course in the coming years might increase to four – years. The candidates are required to complete the three different tiers within the BSW course, that is, the foundation course, the elective course, and finally the fieldwork, in the time – span of three years.

The Department of Humanities & Languages in Rabindranath Tagore University plays an important role in M.P. higher education and works to enable the students to The BSW degree programs are offered in various modes of learning such as distance mode, regular education, or online. Usually, the fees at regular universities for BSW courses are higher than online or distance-learning universities.
Eligibility Criteria: 12th grade from any stream is the minimum requirement to get admission to BSW program. The minimum required mark for admission to the Social Work Foundation course is 35%. Some universities allow admission to BSW degree programs at 35 to 45 percent marks.
